Senior Manager - Business Development

The position plays a critical role in driving new partnership to scale 4INFO's media network, establishing and supporting a sales channel to optimize the monetization of the media network, as well as managing a set of existing partners and clients for. As a member of the Business development team, you will work closely with the Executive, Marketing, Product Management and Engineering teams. In this critical role, the Sr. Manager of Business Development is responsible for achieving inventory and revenue targets through both consultative selling skills as well as project management abilities in which he/she builds relationships with senior executives at leading media, entertainment, publishing and emerging web 2.0 companies.

It is a position that requires strong business, technical, and analytical skills. You must develop in-depth understanding of 4INFO's service offerings and how 4INFO service offerings can help partners achieve their business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer management capabilities, strong project management skills and solid technical proficiency in mobile data application and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently create a pipeline of prospects and execute Business Development plan for converting these prospects to partnership wins
  • Meeting and building relationships with key partner executives through presentation and discussion of 4INFO products and services
  • Follow through on prospect meetings and successfully negotiating and acquiring new partners while deepening relationships with existing partners
  • Work with partners, clients and channel partners to understand requirements and map 4INFO services to their business needs
  • Build relationships and credibility with identified key stakeholders within partners' or clients' organization
  • Work with 4INFO Product and Marketing teams to ensure that proposed solutions provide maximum value to our customers and fit with 4INFO's solution set

Requirements

  • 1-3 years customer-facing experience, preferably in a business consulting, banking or media sales role
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build lasting customer relationships
  • Entrepreneurial drive with a track record of initiative, personal responsibility, and ownership to meet monthly, quarterly and annual goals
  • Relentless attention to driving a clear, consistent and compelling message in all communications
  • High energy, positive attitude and team orientation in all interactions
  • Ability to create and deliver convincing arguments, including ability to make technical presentations, write service proposals and statements of work
  • Experience in mobile, including mobile web, mobile app, video and messaging, desirable
  • BA/BS required MBA a plus

Metrics of Success

  • Meeting/hitting individual quarterly targets for inventory and revenue targets
