Senior Product Manager - Ad Server

Summary

4INFO is looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the design, definition and development of 4INFO's next generation mobile advertising delivery software platform. 4INFO's next generation platform will provide mobile advertising via text and rich media ad units.

It is expected that this person with be able to take a high level objective and deliver results with minimal supervision - working around the challenges and setbacks that come with every project, and deliver the results on time. This requires that this candidate has a high level of confidence, maturity, commitment, and has demonstrated the drive to achieve and succeed. We are looking for a candidate who has a high level of intelligence, creativity, and adaptability. This person will work closely with other technical people in a multicultural environment. Therefore, we are looking for a candidate who has good communication and teamwork skills.

Successful candidate will be tasked with definition and launch of a new Ad Server platform that encompasses 4INFO's existing SMS customer base as well as new and existing outlets such as Android, iPhone, and mobile internet. A significant portion of the Senior Product Manager's success is measured against his or her meeting budgeted metrics for revenue, earnings, usage/adoption, satisfaction and increased lifetime value.

This position reports into the VP of Product & Technology, and is located in San Mateo, CA.

Job Qualifications

The Sr. Product Manager will own strategy and execute across all stages of the product lifecycle, including but not limited to the following:

  • Monitor competitive environments
  • Develop business recommendations and manage launch of new products and product enhancements; includes conceptual design/development, market research, business case development, business requirements, positioning and market strategy.
  • Work with technical and cross-functional teams - including Ad Ops, UI/UX, Engineering and Operations - to ensure the smooth progression through development lifecycles related to the product.
  • Manage, document and track the product lifecycle from concept to launch, and ensure improved usage and performance.
  • Develop and cultivate vendor relationships within the advertising sales and ad technology community.
  • Conduct usability and customer research exercises in order to make product and feature recommendations.
  • Track and report on results and product metrics.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in a product management or marketing role required.
  • Preferred industry experience should include online/interactive or mobile advertising solutions. Proven results with advertising platforms is required. Experience with video advertising is a plus.
  • Must demonstrate a track record of starting projects from ground zero, working independently, and launching on time and on budget.
  • Creativity, flexibility and an ability to manage and reset priorities in a rapidly changing environment is desired.
  • Experience with various software development methodologies, including rapid development and waterfall techniques is required.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills required.
  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
  • Passion for technology and gadgets.
