4INFO Expands Executive Team
Rob DeMillo as chief technology officer and Julie Shumaker as SVP sales and marketing
SAN MATEO, CA. – (May 4, 2010) - 4INFO, Inc., a leading mobile media company, today announced the appointment of two new senior executives: mobile industry leader Rob DeMillo as chief technology officer, and Julie Shumaker as senior vice president of sales and marketing. An industry veteran with extensive experience in mobile technology and product development, DeMillo will oversee the company's engineering team, new product development, and technology strategy. Shumaker will oversee the company's rapidly expanding ad sales department and will spearhead the company's business-to-business marketing initiatives.
As a long time mobile advertising technologist, DeMillo will help broaden 4INFO advertising and publishing capabilities across mobile platforms, including the nascent mHaven™ Data Services, an advanced analytics and data solution for targeted advertising placement on multiple mobile channels. He will also be responsible for extending the capabilities of both the msgHaven™ publishing platform and the adHaven™ advertising platform to new mobile channels, as well as guiding international technology expansion.
Julie Shumaker has built her career on creating high-volume business models for emerging and established digital media companies. Recognized in the industry by both Digital Media Wire and Ad Age, Shumaker recently provided digital revenue consulting for a variety of emerging media businesses in gaming, mobile and location based services. At 4INFO Shumaker will lead the ad sales team, developing new revenue channels as well as brand and agency partnerships. She will also expand the company's global marketing program including advertising, social media, event marketing and PR.

Rob DeMillo also serves as the head technical advisor to Revision3. Previously, he was the Chief Technology Officer / co-Founder of Transpera, Inc., where he was responsible for the technology and operational aspects of the company and served as the technical liaison to mobile operators, video content providers and ad agencies globally. Prior to Transpera, DeMillo was the Chief Technical Officer for Third Screen Media, where he drove the research, specification, development and technical operations of the company's MADX platform. DeMillo also served as Vice President of Mobile Technology at VeriSign, following the acquisition by VeriSign of m-Qube where DeMillo was Senior Vice President of Engineering.
Before joining 4INFO, Shumaker provided digital revenue consulting for a variety of emerging media businesses. She also served as general manager of 1UP.com, a Hearst Interactive Property and was SVP of Sales and General Manager with Double Fusion, Inc. where she managed publisher partnerships and global revenues. Before Double Fusion she led the advertising sales organization for Electronic Arts (EA) and was director of sponsorship sales for Quokka Sports and its joint venture with NBC. She was named to Digital Media Wire's list of "25 Executives to Watch in Digital Entertainment" in 2008 and was recognized in Advertising Age's 2005 "Women to Watch" report. She holds a bachelor's degree from Southern Illinois University.
